Welcome to the Nova Region!!! Below will be a few things that you need to know about our amazing site!

Currency:
The Currency is Pokédollars!

Leveling/Happiness:
Pokémon gain levels and happiness each time they are mentioned in a post, with them gaining 1 level and 1% happiness per post they are mentioned. Some items may increase this, such as a Lucky Egg or a Soothe Bell.

When battling, the victor Pokémon gains +2 levels and +5% happiness, while the loser only gains a standard +1 level and +1% happiness.

Evolving:
Pokémon evolve when they reach a certain level, or when other specific conditions are met.

Pokémon who evolve with friendship, will be eligible to evolve when they have 75% Friendship.

Pokémon that evolve with a stone... evolve when you give them the stone.

Pokémon that evolve when traded evolve when traded, OR when they reach 40% happiness and level 30.

Battling:
Battling is a bit more lax here, so that people can enjoy the RP aspect as opposed to being so caught up in dice rolls and calculations. We are free form, though if a battle is unfair, a mod can be asked to step in. If both parties desire, they can use an online battle damage calculator, or they can do free form.

Breeding:
Breeding is done when one has two Pokémon from the same egg group. One must roll a D100 and get 50+ to succeed in breeding an egg. They can then roll again, rolling a D100 1-25 to roll for a shiny or a Nova Form.

Once one has an egg from their Pokémon, they then must complete a number of posts with the egg in order to hatch it. The number of posts is determined by that Pokémon's egg cycle, being from 10 posts to 45 posts or more, or less.

[NOTE: It is important to note that information on Pokémon moves, abilities and ect are all found on Bulbapedia if you have a special Pokémon, such as a Nova Form, you can ask staff for a move/level list!]
